Calgary - Banff - Lake Louise - Kamloops - Vancouver (tourBWC103)

Day 1 and 2 Banff Leave Calgary's downtown and tour through the foothills into the Rocky Mountains. In BANFF TOWN tour the town with your knowledgeable driver/guide. You will also have an opportunity to ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain (included) on the BANFF GONDOLA. Overnight in Banff. Day two is yours to explore the mountain community of Banff.
We can book a pre-night in Calgary or a post-night in Vancouver.

Day 3 Depart Banff this morning and head to MORAINE LAKE and the Valley of the Ten Peaks. Continue to LAKE LOUISE, the 'Jewel of the Rockies'. After a lunch break in Lake Louise (lunch not included) continue on the Yoho Valley and Emerald Lake (available June 15 - October 2, tour to Lake Louise only is substituted outside of these dates). Return in the late afternoon back to Lake Louise.

Day 4 Today, journey northward to Jasper with a stop at the ATHABASCA GLACIER. An interpretive tour onto the glacier with a Brewster Ice Explorer is included. In addition to the Glacier, sights on route include PEYTO LAKE, Crowfoot Glacier, ATHABASCA FALLS and wildlife. Arrive in Jasper late afternoon.

Day 5 Your introduction to Jasper will encompass some outstanding scenery including Medicine Lake and MALIGNE LAKE. Continue on your way to Maligne Lake, there you will board a tour boat and set off on a 90 minute cruise. (cruise available June 1 - Sept. 30). Return to Jasper where the rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure.

Day 6 Your day is at leisure until your transfer to the Jasper train station (included), where you will board the VIA Rail train bound for VANCOUVER (dinner included).
VIA RAIL BEDROOMS / DINING CAR / DOME CAR / PARK-LOUNGE CAR

Day 7 Enjoy breakfast (included onboard) then your vacation ends upon arrival at Vancouver's Pacific Central Station in early morning.

We can book a pre-night in Calgary or a extra nights in VANCOUVER and/or you may choose to extend your stay and visit Vancouver and the largest island in North America, mighty Vancouver Island. Those extending their stay can go whale watching, see BUTCHART GARDENS and the city of VICTORIA on Vancouver Island or travel up to WHISTLER Resort area (North of Vancouver).
