Day 1 Monday or Thursday or Saturday Pick up your rental vehicle and head west from Calgary. Pass through the rolling foothills which give way to towering mountains in a short time. Enter Banff National Park, Canada's first park and continue on the Bow Valley Expressway past Fortress Mountain to Lake Louise. Overnight at one of the most picturesque locations anywhere.

Day 2 and 3 The area around LAKE LOUISE offers more opportunities for great sightseeing than you could see in a month. Favorites include MORAINE LAKE, Yoho National Park to the west with its towering Takakkaw Waterfalls, the Icefields Parkway to ATHABASCA GLACIER, JOHNSTON CANYON drive and trail walk etc. Overnight Banff area.

Day 4 Drop your rental vehicle at the Banff Railway Station in the morning and board the famous Rocky Mountaineer, westbound. Travel through the Kicking Horse Pass and the famous Spiral Tunnels built by the Canadian Pacific Railroad. Continue over Roger's Pass, cross the continental divide and begin the downhill run towards the interior of British Columbia. Many of the scenic vistas can only be seen from this train. Arrive in Kamloops and we transfer you to your hotel. Perhaps enjoy the Two River Junction Dinner here this evening.

Day 5 We transfer you to the train station for your departure once more on the Rocky Mountaineer. Follow the Thompson and Fraser Rivers, passing famous Hell's Gate where the waters thrash through a narrow gorge.
Pass pastures, cranberry farms and forests into the metropolis of Vancouver. VANCOUVER was voted number one city in North America to visit by the American Business Association! Arrive near supper time and transfer (not included) to one of our many downtown hotels. Perhaps dine in one of Vancouver's two revolving restaurants this evening and enjoy the views of cruise ships and water that seems to surround the city.

Day 6 An amazing day ahead! We transfer by motor coach onto British Columbia Ferries ships to sail the inside passage to Vancouver Island. Our motor coach drives us to Beautiful BUTCHART GARDENS. With its millions of flowers it is hard to imagine this was once a horrid rock quarry. Continue to VICTORIA, capital of British Columbia and the most "British" city in Canada. Enjoy a scenic drive with vistas of the Juan de Fuca Strait and the Olympic Mountains. There is enough time for shopping and High Tea at the Empress Hotel before returning to the ferry which will deliver us back to our hotel in VANCOUVER.

Day 7 You have a full day of options that we can pre-book for you. Overnight Vancouver
*Visit Whistler resort area, an alpine haven
*Go whale watching
*Take a half or full-day sightseeing of Vancouver including Grouse Mountain, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Stanley Park and the Totem Poles, Granville Island and more
*Shop Robson Street and Gastown

Day 8 Check out of your hotel and end of services or you may choose to extend your stay and visit Vancouver and the largest island in North America, mighty Vancouver Island. Those extending their stay can go whale watching, see BUTCHART GARDENS and the city of VICTORIA on Vancouver Island or travel up to WHISTLER Resort area (North of Vancouver).
